How to reset the theft light - 1995 Ford Windstar

this will sound odd, but I was having the same issue, and I tried everything on this forum but I wasn't getting anywhere, but I decided to check all my fuses under the dash and found out on my 2010 Ford E350 fuse #54 fuel pump relay coil, was blown, I replaced it and the van started right up, I was having all the issues of a PAT system failure, dash lights on, security light blinking, and advance track service light on.

Taking it to the dealer is the only way .

the car will not run if the theft sensor light is flashing the computer is not picking up the right vin the pcm thinks the car is beining stole so it shuts the fuel pump down .the only way to rest it is to have the pcm flash

There is a reset procedure to stop this anti-theft light flashing.many a times this helps The reset procedure is as follows:-- Reset the alarm by locking and unlocking the drivers side door.Do this a couple of times and then check it will reset the factory security system . If the reset procedure does not helps then its time to get the anti-theft system checked.There is a short circuit in the anti-theft system wiring.
