Would you happen to know what controller is the main controller? if so you should have the wii off, then take the controller and point it at the wii and press the power button in the top left corner(on remote) that should do the trick. If you do not know what one was the main one, try doing it with both.

How do you change the number 1 remote if you lost it

there should be a red button under the controllers battery pack, and a matching red button under the panel in front of the disk drive. If you press both buttons at once the controller should reassign its self to the number one position.

Controller keeps blinking

Hello,

Your controller is blinking either because the batteries are low or it has lost sync to the Wii. Resync the controller or undo the clip on the back and replace the batteries. :)

My wii controlers will quit working while playing a game. Message comes up that communication has been lost. I have replaced the sensor bar and tried different controllers but nothing works

Hello there

From what you have said it sounds like you have the SYNC ERROR

The main causes are Hardware failure, overheating or wear & tear.

You may need to perform simple maintenance, clean or in some cases adjust settings.

To get the best advice on where to start I recommend a Wii Repair Guide , From this you can fix the problem at home and avoid any large repair bills. Its easier than it sounds when you have help from the guide.

The other solution would be to send the console off to Nintendo, This is free if your still in warranty. If your console is out of warranty then the usual price of repair is $90

Glad I could Help!

Good Luck & Best Regards

Pete

PS2 black console does not communicate with controllers

Sounds like you have wireless Controllers. Be sure your batteries are good on the Controller and the controller is turned on, LED should light. Plug the receiver into the controller jack, and it should light up at least one LED. If you have channel number selector, set it to the same number on the controllers, channel selector.

If old wired controllers will work, then you have dud wireless controllers. I know that cheap poor quality wireless controllers exist out there. You may have a dud. I also know that sometimessomething kills the controller ports on the PS2. The only way to know is to hook a wired controller you know works into the port to see if the port is good or bad.

The game controller lost communication with the console

Try replacing the batteries, moving the censor or cleaning the little black thing on the tip of your remote.

Cannot connect the controller to the console

There are two synch buttons. The one on the console and there's also one beside the batteries that you replaced.
Try both and you should be back online.
