Can't shut down the main pump on my Jandy Auqualink system. The controls inside my house show off but the pump continues to run. The control box outside will not shut down the pump either. Going to Service or timeout will not turn the pump off. The only way to get the pump off is to trip the circuit breakers.

The relay is probably bad. If you open up the main outdoor panel, you can watch the bottom of the relay for the pump, ususally on the upper left of the relay cluster (black). Watch for a small tab popping out when turning on/off. If you don't see it, the relay is bad. This assumes you hear a click when doing this.

My interior control panel pump light is off, but the pump is still running.

Did someone switch the main box over to service mode? Doing so bypasses the remote. If not try powering down the system and rebooting it. If still having issues please comment back with details. You can also try Jandy direct for support be calling:

I can't shut the pool motor off. It shows off on the display but continues to run.

Check the relay and make sure it is working correctly inside the control box. Should have 4 screws with wires attached. Check some other forums about relay problems for the exact answer.

My aqualink shows the pool pump turned on but the pump is not on or running

its probably the contactor located in the high voltage section of the main control unit. if you remove the cover plates you can see the small wires come thru the smaller section where the ecectronic and low voltage parts are housed then you will see a bunch of clear blocks that have red and black wires that run all over it looks scary. if you look closer there are small wing nuts that hold the square boxes against the wall of the box inside those boxes are contactors it is common that they get stuck in the open or shut position. alot of the time you can tap the box with a blunt end of a screw driver and that will disloge it. you may have to tap each one as you use the side control buttons to turn on and off each function as it is kinda hard to tell which one goes where but you should eventually be able to get it to snap on be careful this is a 220 volt section. if the problem continues sometimes there are one or two extra contactors that are not used and you can swap one out for the one that is malfunctioning and it will save you from buying a new contactor

I do have a problem with Jandy Aqualink System

I would lower the freeze setting. It sound slike you are hovering around the temp set for freeze and that is why it is turning on/off. Go into the freeze mode settings and lower it as you would a heater setting.

Auto shut down function not working (Jandy Aqualink RS6)

Jandy relays are known to stick. You can diagnose this yourself with a screwdriver. Remove the four screws on the outside panel. You will see a series of black rectangular relays and a lot of wires. Typically the pump relay is the one in the upper right. It will certainly be the one plugged into the left hand socket at the bottom of the circuit board.

Be sure to do all of this simply be looking. You can move the twisted red/black wires a bit to determine which relay is plugged into the first socket. Try to notice on the bottom of the relay a small black tab that is sticking out. When out, the relay is on. If the pump is running, this tab is out. If you then put the controller into service mode and the lights go out without the tab popping back in, you have a bad relay. If turning the pump off does not put the pump light out, you have a bad board.

In most cases, the relay is bad and it is a simple fix.
