Can't figure out how to program second guitar

I have Guitar Hero, World Tour. I can use the first guitar, but I bought a second one. How do you program the second guitar to work?

I'm having the exact same problem, we've tried everything to connect the 2nd guitar and are having NO luck, very upset as this was a christmas present for my 2 kids and only 1 can play at a time, even though we bought TWO guitars. Not very impressed with Guitar Hero at all.

I looked on a wii forum and read that we needed to press the red reset button on the wii box. We cannot get the new guitar to work as a solo. it shows s a mi that is not plugged in. we have given up for the evening.

got the one guitar to work, no go on the second, searched everywhere, called help lines, but the only thing i got was the red reset button too. i tried setting it up the same way the first was synced but it still didn't work. Im confused and it seems like others are too.

I had the same problem, I couldn't get the second guitar to work. It's working now. Once you're in the game press the red sync button on your wii box and then open the back of the controller and press that red button. This worked for me, hope it helps.

The same way you synced up the first guitar, you just have to make sure that they are on different channels

We found that our guitar was for other game systems (X box or playstation 360)- not wii. If your connection ISB box is black instead of white- then it's the wrong guitar. We went back and traded guitars and all went fine.

The boxes look exactly the same except you need to make sure that you clearly see a Wii in the corner.

Guitar hero world tour xbox 360

The guitar syncs the same was a regular controller does.

There's a tiny sync button near the XBox button on the guitar. Press that, and then the sync button on your Console.
