Disney princess tv won't show all channels

With parental control off and even after programming all channels as per instructions our new disney tv won't show all channels, mostly channels in the 30's which is disappointing to my daughter because she can't watch the disney channel. Have any ideas?

I have a 55 inch JVC tv,today the screen went black but still have sound, also the buttons on the back wont work, but the channel down button turns it on and off? What is wrong with it?

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary..

TV responds to on-off, channel & volume changing buttons, but nothing else on remote. Screen is dark, but the station and show listing appear at bottom. Sound of show works, but no picture.

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check it by pressing all the keys. You can detect the presence of infra-red emission from the remote control, using a cell-phone camera. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. One among the posts has details about it. In some cases, the remote control might need to clean.

The remote has stopped working so the only way I can change channels is on the actual tv

Easy way to test an infrared remote is to point your camera at it and then push a button on the remote and look for the purple color on the camera, If you don't see the color AND the batteries in the remote are new AND installed correctly, it is time for a new remote.

One for all universal remote i am trying to program my seiki television. I lost the original remote and the power button on the television is broken so I cant turn the television on

Always better to buy a genuine replacement. The problem is that if I remember correctly, Seiki don't actually make the television, which is why it never features in the Remote Code Lists. I have just checked three sites.

Truetech 10 inch under the counter tv is stuck on channel 2. I need 3. Channel buttons on tv & remote do not change 2 to channel 3. Unplugging, Resetting hasn't worked Any ideas?

Main system control memory IC fault. This is a very small IC; have 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control-chroma IC. Check and replace it. Be sure to replace it with the same number printed on it; in all respect. Otherwise, it won't go. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Before replacing it, try a reset to this set, and then check.
There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here.

I've tried to set up a Bose remote to my TV and B Ray player. I can get the programme change, menu and the channel guide working but not the volume + or - .I've tried other codes as instructed.

Set-up (Programming) procedure is too much to type in here, and is not practical and it will differ brand-to-brand remote controls. If you wish to get more; check the sites linked here. The site has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. The site has general set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the 'device's brand name list' in alphabetical order. Set-up code list to many brand remote controls also is given. Pull up older posts. Search the sites by type in the brand name to your device in its search box at the top right part of the display window. It will help you to find the document easily.

I have a 39 inch element tv i cant program the cable channels

Typically you can access the menu, select "tuner" or something similar, make sure you're selected either on CATV or ANT (or similar), then do a channel scan. Should be pretty straightforward. Oh, and make sure you actually HAVE cable. If it's digital cable, you may need an external converter box for it to work.

I have one of these with the same problem. I couldn't find any others with answers but there are people giving answers about the DMR-EX75 showing the same problem due to power supply decoupling capacitor failure.
I just ordered a manual for mine from manualzone.com to try to locate the culprits. - Wish me luck!
