Question about Nintendo Guitar Hero: Aerosmith for Wii

1 Answer

I can't do dual play with my GH Aero

When I go to the set up on the game for multiplayers, it doesn't seem to pick up the second guitar, no matter what I do. I've replaced the batteries in the second remote as well as switched guitars, which both seem to work fine. Any other game I can do more than one remote/multiplayers. I've tried troubleshooting according to the GH and Wii books to no avail.

Would help if the manual explained how to sync the remote, esp since it was working on others. But I was able to sync it and it worked.

My guiter will communicate with the frontman but it doesn't control the playstation. I have tried every way undere the sun to sink and it seems to sink with the fromtman cause it shows what color i am...

1. You need 3 other controllers besides the Nyko guitar (they can be the rockband instrument set, or just any PS3 controllers. I used a DS3 a RB guitar and GH3 guitar)
2. You need all 3 of the controllers assigned to the PS3 taking up spot 1-3 except the Nyko guitar (goal is to assign the Nyko to 4 or higher)
3. Plug in the Nyko dongle and attempt to link with the guitar (it will most likely make the Nyko button turn red which is the color that won't play)
4. Turn the switch on the dongle back and forth once or twice ending on GH setting letting the guitar link on it's own (It may not assign correctly on the first try, but keep switching between Rockband setting and GH setting. Always end on GH, because it will work with Rockband on GH setting)
5. After a few times it should link and allow you to play

Problem is the firmware of the PS3 (V3.10 or higher)

Gh world tour mic has terrible lag

Yes, unfortunately, USB ports just aren't fast enough for live vocals. Some stereo setups have longer lag times than others, as well. A couple of ms is very noticeable. Have you tried adjusting the settings on the game? Go to "Options" on the Home Screen and select "Calibrate Lag." Here you can delay either your Audio or your Video in 1 ms increments to try to adjust for lag times. You may find a happy medium after adjusting these settings.

make shure to start the wii, then when it says to press the a button use one guitar. use that same guitar to go to the disk and start it then push the a button on the second guitar. and it should light the blue box number 2 on remote go to head to head and they both should work fine.

try looking into the t.v. itself are you using both the red and white rca lines into the tv ? is the tv set for stereo sound not mono? or try reversing the red and white do you hear guitar two now instead of one if so the tv inputs could be broken and look for another input on the tv
