If its no longer working, i would unplug it from the wall and take it apart (think its only a few screws holding it together). inside you will find a fuse that can be replaced. take the fuse (its a special type) to Radio Shack and buy a few spares. reinstall the fuse and reassemble the charger. it should now work again.

Will American power tool batteries work after being plugged into a 220 charger

Yep. they will as long as the 220 volt charger was connected to 220. If a 220 volt charger is plugged into 110 volts it may not charge the battery but no damage to the battery will happen.

Why did my ryobi multitool stopped working?

I have not ides of your question, do you mean your tool can not work or your tool's charger can not work?

Please give the tool model number, battery part number and charger model number when asking the questions, otherwise, no one can help you.

Need a battery charger for the 21.6 volt battery

It will work if it is of the same charger/receiver style. The only issue is that you will only be charging to 19 volts and not 21.6, I would estimate by doing some simple math that you would lose about 6-8% of the batteries capacity but you would be able to use it.

Why can't you buy the 230 volt DC18RA charger in europe (amazon.europe country) and use it. I had the same issue yet i burned out the fuse in the 110 volt DC18RA charger because i plugged it into the wall just using an adaptor. Lesson learned. Therefore, my first solution was that i bought a converter from 220V-to 110 Volt. This showed me that my charger was done. So instead of getting another 110 volt charger sent here to Europe from Canada, I returned the converter and have on order a 230 volt input DC18RA charger from amazon.de which has the same 7.2-18V output. I have been told this will work yet the fear, and I don't know why, is that it will burn out the batteries in a year or so. It is difficult getting specific information from Makita, but I hope it all works out. Best of Luck for you

WHERE CAN I GET A REPLACEMENT CHARGER FOR A GREATNECK DRILL?

I have to be the bearer of bad news. These are mass produced to give you the lowest price possible. They are made in Keorea/Taiwan and unfortunately do not make replacement parts. These are sold to any company that pays enough to put their name on it. Shop force makes the same drill and several other brands. So when something goes bad you have to replace the entire drill (only comes in the combo pk). You can't buy seperate pieces. Try shop force or Master craft. They're similar to what you have. Found one on Ebay. IF you keep looking you can probably find a seller with just the charger. Good luck

Very little juice in freshly charged batteries

have you tried the batterys in any other tool?

you would also need to check the voltage of the batterys they should be at least 18 volts (19 prefered)

then if the batterys do not show charged you would need to make sure the battery charger is putting out voltage.

After that contact your closest Ryobi service center we would check that for free to let you know what you need, I am sure you local place would do the same.

Kawasaki tool set/batteries will not charge and the light on the charger does not come on like its not charging at all.

MAKE SURE POWER ON OUTLET YOU ARE USING FOR CHARGER , CK TO SEE IF CHARGER IS FUSED , TAKE A PENCIL ERASER AND CLEAN ALL THE CONTACTS THAT MAKE CONTACT WITHE THE BATTERY IN THE CHARGER AND ON THE BATTERY ITSELF , AS SOMETIMES THEY GET CORRODED AND DO NOT MAKE PROPER CONTACT , IF NONE OF THESE WORK YOU COULD HAVE A BAD CHARGER

Kawasaki 19.2 cordless drill

Re: Burned trigger switch: call the number on the drill (800.590.3723) and tell them what happened. They will offer to send you a new switch or have you send the drill in for replacement of the switch--although the person I talked with said they would probably just replace the whole drill.
