Internet Explorer gives that error when your copy of Windows is not validated and it has been detected installed on multiple machines. Your only option is to reload Windows using the version and key that came with your computer.

It's EXACTLY as it says.

The serial number you used is either fake or blacklisted.

If you had purchased this software, You must contact the vendor to inform them that the serial number you have been provided has been blacklisted for some reason. If it was directly from the IDM website, click here.

Most likely, you would be provided with a new serial number to RE-register the software with.

If you acquired this software or the serial number from unknown/nefarious sources, you'll just have to uninstall it & use some other download manager.

Clicked on message to read but a blank page appears

Check your internet browsers Adblock. I'd suggest downloading either Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox (if you already use one, download the other) and try reading the message in the other browser. If you can read the message in the second browser, then you should look at the adblocking of your preferred browser. If this is the case, I would need to know your preferred internet browser, but it should be an easy fix.

"idm has been registered with

The problem seems to be with the serial key you provided for IDM. IDM blocks every pirated serial key and it is the reason you are getting the above message.

The solution this problem has been given by techforum4u.com

The solution for this problem is not easily available and the only step the user left with is uninstalling the software completely. Even after several installation and uninstallation the problem exists unless you format your computer. If you want a permanent and exact solution for this problem follow these steps:-

1. Exit IDM from the taskbar before entering the serial.
2. Disconnect active connections to the internet.
3. Then go to the directory C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc and locate the file 'hosts'
4. Open the "hosts" file with "notepad".
5. on the last line enter the following address as shown and save.

127.0.0.1 www.internetdownloadmanager.com

idm.jpg
6. Now, again enter the "fake serial" and wait for few seconds.
7. your IDM is registered again.
8. No wonder you would be facing this problem again but without panic use a "new fake key" ( this time steps 3,4 and 5 are not required, the only thing required is "a keygen" for generating a new key. For IDM 5.14 Dr.Carbon Keygen is used ).

Every time i try to download the software, upon clicking the "download now" button, it takes me to a page saying "internet explorer cannot display the webpage" i'm running windows XP mediacenter edition...

hi,
try a different browser to diagnose wether its you or them. download google chrome(internet explorer equivalent) and then try and download it through that browser, if you cant get it to download through chrome, then you might have spy killing software blocking your download. try this go to start/run/and in the run box type "msconfig" see whats running in startup. the most usual culprit is spywareblaster or spybot . get into your antispyware program and look for a control that says "block bad download" and shut that off temporarily. this could take some time. But Hopefully its just internet explorer frying out, if it is then chrome should get your download going, if you still cant download it through chrome and your spykiller is disabled try contacting the webmaster or email them at the website where your trying to download that file and see if its indeed them. You can try and download that file from another location by using google and searching for an "alternative site for download". or try googling your problem as" cant download so and so" and see what it says then..

There are words appearing on the screen saying "This Computer is being Attacked!" every 10-20 seconds.. and i cant open the display settings..

You have one of the many rogue anti-spyware/anti-virus programs that are on the Internet. Once on your computer they flood you with messages claiming your computer is under attack, or has a bunch of viruses, and tries to get you to buy their product to "clean" your system. They usually also block real antivirus programs, keep you from visiting many websites, install browser hijackers and other junk. In short, they're a pain.

Download the free version of MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware and install it. Run a complete scan (it may take a while, so be patient) and let it correct problems it finds. This is a very effective program and will clean up the majority of common malware applications.

BleepingComputer.com has a large number of tools and competent people available to help you if you still have problems getting your computer clean.

Good luck, and thanks for using Fixya!

Any download from intanet is being blocked somehow by my laptop i have tried to cancel all popup blocks and cancelled the firewall to no avail it's running on vista can anyone help!! need skype and windows...

Open Internet Explorer. Click on Tools/Internet Options/Security. You will see a button near the bottom that says "Reset all zones to default level" . Click on this button. Above it to the left, you will see a message that says Appropriate for most websites and under it Prompt prior to downloading potentially unsafe content. Click on Apply and close out the browser. Now when you attempt to download Skype or Messenger (btw Messenger can be run from the web now) you should see a yellow bar appear just under the address bar with a warning. You should be given the option to download the file. Click on download file and you should be all set.
