Lost remote Lost my remote control for Durabrand 1002.Can I purchase a new remote for this unit?

Recall on certain models of Durabrand DVD:

Pink: UPC 1799934100, Model No. 1002 PINK
Silver: UPC 1799901002, Model No. 1002
Purple: UPC 1799932100, Model No. 1002 PUR

where you bought it , or best buy radio shack,.

You need to contact the manufacturer of your remote not the of the dvd player.

Has it been driven over or chewed by a dog?

This product isn't being supported anymore by Walmart because the manufacturer Lennox Electronics went out business in December of 2007.

It appears that Lenoxx Electrtonics is out of business (go figure). I happen to have a DVD-1002 player that lost sound on the right channel. I am planning on retiring this player and would like to make my remote available to you for a small fee (shipping via USPS). The remote is working and is in good cosmetic condition, so if you would like let me know at my e-mail address [email protected]

on the dvd player it should say what the make it is try looking on there website and buy the remote

I wish I had the code, but no. If it is forthcoming then it will be via a hacker, or someone who gets lucky. I just got an email back from lenoxx customer service (the guys who made the 1002 ... at least, the one I have) and they have gone bankrupt:

I too have a remote that no loger works; one of the components snappped off (past repair) while my wife was simply changing tracks on a cd.

So, come on you hackers, there are people in need and as usual, we have no one else to turn to!
