You are probably trying to put the springs on the backing plate but that is not right.
lay the console face down and put the pins in the holes right above the circuit board ( you can put the buttons down on the console and it will show you the proper holes) and then slide the first hole of the button on the pin, put the spring in between the two holes on the button, then slide the button all the way down on the pin and use a small screwdriver to push the spring into the slot that is used to put pressure on the spring.

I'm having trouble beating level 34 in the hacking section of the Code Lyoko DS game. I've pretty much tried almost every possible way, but I'm stuck. Can you help me please?

This guide suggests the following:

"Place the first piece on the left against the left edge of the puzzle. Put the first piece on the right against the top edge, against the first piece you put in. Put the third piece on the left int the bottom right corner of the puzzle, then put the fourth piece on the left against that one. Now put the second piece on the left in the remaining space."

My daughters ds lite the top left button seems to be lose and doesn't work is there any way we can fix this ourselves? thank you

you can
you can try and replace the button setup

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/?_from=R40&_trksid=p3907.m38.l1313&_nkw=Nintendo+DS+Lite+left+button&_sacat=See-All-Categories

onj this search there are two fixes
one involves the spring being replaced and the other replaces the button itself
i suggest you replace the spring fisrt because it involves no soldering
if that dont work go for the button but requires soldering skills

Nintendo DS left trigger malfunction

the l and r buttons have springs behind them it could be the spring has snapped and the button has fallen onto the switch. the next time it happens hold the ds upside down if it stops its the spring if it doesnt stop then its the micro switch gone faulty and you would have to open up the bottom casing and replace it, its soldered on the motherboard and is smaller than a pea with 5 soldered joints.

Sonic Rush DS Zone 7 Act 2.

What a great game! This is one of my favorites. When you hit the rocket it will lean backward, tipping upward slightly. You need to push left on the d-pad to bring it back down, but just a little. If you overcompensate you can move left and right to keep it level. Try to go directly to the right. When the rocket explodes and you fall onto the spring, bounce back up. At the peak of your jump, press the R button to bust through the wall. Have fun!

Look on the well known auction sites. Some are selling the switch. Ask them if they could also replace it for you. I could do it for you but I'm in Europe, so a little to far
