Great another problem to deal with...

So aside from not sending a proper USB cable that connects the NX-134, I gotta deal with software issues when I do get the time to drive 55 miles to the nearest walmart just to see if they even have the cable.

How about someone taking responsibility and overnite my child a cable and any software and or links to the the proper software that works with a notebook pc AMD 64 Athlonx2 Vista home premium via your product, you have an email address from myself, what will you do other than offering me some "Premium Assistance" for more money Mr. and Mrs. Scrooge?

I bought one of these on ebay for $6 and it didn't come with the USB adapter but my camera USB plugged right in it. After downloading the vista software for the 2 G player from the RCA site it was recognized and sycning perfect with media player.

Walmart won't have the cable separately. If it is within their 14 day return policy, and you have the receipt, you can swap it out for a new one. The software that you need to make the player Vista-compatible is available for free on the RCA Opal website, www.rcaopal.com. You can call RCA and see if they will send you the right cable - most electronics companies don't have an overnight option, but there are exceptions here and there. Good luck!

I can not hear the music very well. I have to hold the MP3 Player and earphone connection together because is kind of loose.

You seem to be confused. Fixya.com is an independent website, not associated in any way with the manufacturers of your mp3 player. Call the manufacturer of the mp3 player directly.

Need driver for naxa mp3 for vista


I only see an update on Naxa's website for a NX-122 and NX-196, so the 134 may not be Vista compatible. Some manufacturers updated SOME of their players to be Vista compatible, but not others. To be absolutely sure, I would e-mail them at support@naxaelectronics.com. I just shot them one myself - I'll see if they respond.

Reseting now wont charge or turn on


Y'all should go to http://www.mymusix.com and download the "player update" (among other tools) to solve this problem. I just bought a returned one today from Radio Shack and had to spend over an hour to get it calibrated properly. It was pretty crazy...I had to press down on "play" and the "reset" buttons simultaneously and then plug in the USB cable, let go of "reset" and then let go of "play" once the "player update" software recognized the darn thing. It's now working perfectly and actually a great deal for $20.

Hopefully you can use the FAQ section on mymusix.com and figure it out exactly, otherwise I'd be happy to give you the step-by-step instructions I followed.

Naxa's website is useless as far as getting product specs. Most likely, the songs you are trying to add are DRM-encrypted WMA files, and they do not have "transfer rights" on them. The solution is to convert them to Mp3 format using a WMA to Mp3 Converter, or to get the Premium (as in, "more expensive") verison of your online music service subscription - the upgrade that includes transfer rights.
