I have an 89 e350,starts and runs for 30-40 minutes then dies. try to start but won't. can't hear the fuel pump go on?

The first question is always - do you have spark and fuel pressure when it fails to start. And to continue, do you have power at the fuel pump and EEC relays ?

It will crank up and run for about 20 or 30 minutes then it will die and it will not start back up for 30-45 minutes. It has plenty of battery power and sounds like it wants to start but it just...

This sounds like a fuel pump issue. Check the fuel pressure and for spark at the plugs after it dies. If fuel pressure is low then you will need to replace the fuel pump. Feel free to respond after these items are checked. Thanks

Fuel filter or pump. will start but will not continue. gage show 55 lbs of pressure when start, none when not key on.

Sounds like a pump. You should have 43 lbs of pressure after system is primed by turning key to ON. Pump will run for 5 seconds and shut off if engine is not running. It should hold pressure for 30 minutes with just a few lbs drop. If not, it is the check valve, internal to the pump or the fuel pressure regualtor on the fuel rail. Hardly ever the latter

Half-warm engine start problems. My Saab 9-3, 2,0, 2000 mod. bought in april 2010 has now been running totally 230 000 km. Lately repaced distributor cover, rotor, spark plugs so far. Still the engine...

One possibility is in the the fuel system. It may be the the fuel filter, fuel pump or injecters. You can test fuel pressure to the the injecter rails and change the fuel filter if you haven't already done so.

Oil light comes on when starting engine or when excelerating. Started last week, checked level was fine changed oil and filter this weekend and still doing it.

An easy one, finally.
The oil pressure sensor is one of the least reliable parts of any car and yours is bad. They are supposed to turn on the 'idiot light' at ~ 4 pounds of pressure which is almost too late for any warning since oil pressures range from ~30- ~60 pounds in most engines.
These are common failures and not costly to replace. Once you know where it is, with an appropriate wrench, it's about a 5-minute job.

Booting so late

Check u're BIOS settings ! There are setting that allow a delayed drive test (for the hard drives that initiate them selfs slower than the motherboard) maybe that is u\re problem. U can also do a BIOS update, and set all the settings on default ...

it can also stay that long if u manually set a disk drive in BIOS, and that disk does not exist ...., or even a faulty dvd unit ....try removing u're dvd and see if it influences the boot up time. ..
