Question about Printers & Copiers
No matter what setting i try, always the same result... am using windows xp (service pack 2) and trying to print with an epson stylus photo rx510. Have tried the online help guides to no avail, and tried just for the sake of it taking exactly the same pic with three different cams to see what happens, and the images still print out pretty dark even though there was a flash in use. when i view an image on the pc it shows it as very bright, but prints very dull. For what it's worth the images are printing absolutely perfectly but just way darker than they should be. As far as i am aware i have the latest driver available (v5.5) and have tried the suggestion on the Epson site to use the ''ICM'' setting, but that just made the printed images darker. Am trying to print on Kodak Photo Paper (Glossy). Just getting frustrating after wasting 20+ sheets of paper on something that was supposed to be a simple point and click job. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)
Try editing the photo.. more brightness, contrast etc etc.. see if it will also print brighter... if it still prints the same i guess its time to throw the printer back to epson
