Try to restore your computer to an earlier time where standby button is working, press start menu, click all programs, click accessories, click system tools and then system restore. see if it works, if not try to repair your windows using bootable xp cd

The onboard video chip is very weak and it can't handle the amount of data required by a game. There's only thing you can do - install a decent video card.

VGA driver for Windows 7

There is no driver for such an old onboard video chip, it simply doesn't support Win 7 so it runs on the basic VGA default driver.
Get a separate AGP video card , whatever you get, no matter how old, will be better than what you have now.

Unpluged VGA cable now no display.

This is why it is never a good idea to SCREW in those little crown nuts from your cable to your VGA port. All connections on any PC should remain firmly connected, but unscrewed to prevent damage due to pulling, twisting or removing. All it takes to damage that VGA port is a single push to the wall from the front of your PC. If your VGA pins aren't touching on the board, and if there are no shorts, you can fix your problem by adding a Video card. Otherwise, you will need to de-solder and remove your on-board port completely and try again with the VGA card.

No boot

if you had received a cd with the card that contains drivers i would replace the old vga card and, assuming it boot s okay, load the CD. after this shut down, swap cards, then reboot.
