Question about HP w1907 LCD Monitor
My Mail.com Usa.com web browser opens in a seperate window when I hit reply. But my cursor when placed in reponse area won't function . I must Place my cursor on Reference/Heading area.then Tab it until it arrives in Reply typing area... very strange . I have Vista but It happens in any public Machine too.
No PC stated, + Vista. just an old monitor. name there.
so is not PC related, bah !
or the web site.
what public machines? what OS what browers. sure IE11.
gee those are new machines yours is like 10 years old.
big differences yes,
lets work browser, what browser is it,? IE8 my guess.
you do know , old browsers are NOT allowed now on many websites.! a hard cold fact that.
why not load firefox, v56+ and try that, (fast fix) end.
it will, work on all websites on earth FF56+
try that, now. then learn why many IE versions are banned
or why (good reasons all)
vista came with IE8 ( a very dangerous browser)
then with SP2 loaded IE9 can be loaded but never 10 or 11
IE11 is the only MS safe browser and not banned, . at web sites.
or use firefox and the pain, run Firefox. newest (current)
last, Mail dot com why not read their spec page, see.
id dont use vista. period. hark and vast other places too.
clear as day. what it says, read this please.

You can go to the Control Panel (Select the start button and then either "Control Panel" or "Settings" and then "Control panel") and double click the Mouse properties icon.
Then you can select the "Device Select" tab and check the box marked "Disable Touch Pad when USB Pointing Device is present."
That is also where you can permantly disable the touch pad by simply selecting "Disable Device" and "Disable Button"
Hope that helps.

The sensitivity of the touchpad maybe too high, this is a common problem and can be easily sorted.
Go into the control panel and select mouse, there you can set the sensitivity of the pad.
See if that helps any!!!

I got your issue, If you want to log into 192.168.0.1 , make sure that the computer is online wired or wireless with your router, then try to open the page using http://192.168.0.1. If still its not opening the page then follow these steps,
1. Click on start--> Go to all Programs--> Accessories--> select command prompt
2. You will get a black window, which is the command prompt and you will find a small cursor blinking there you type in "ipconfig" (without cotes) and then hit enter.
3. Check what is the IP address/ IP v4 ipaddress , which must be in the range 192.168.0.x
4. Then in the next line type "ping 192.168.0.1" (without cotes) then it will give you reply 4 times and with the ping statistics Packets send=4, Received =4, lost =0.
5. Then type in the next line "start iexplore 192.168.0.1" then you will get Dlink router setup page opened.
Thanks in advance!
