Can you be a bit more specific? I've tried using Rio Music Manager to copy files from the player with no luck so far.

Re: Transferring music to new pc

You must use the music transfer software that came with the CD (also avail on Rio website) - which will not load on newer, Vista running computers.

Want to transfer music from iPod to ZMAX iphone is it possible

Are you talking about ZTE ZMAX smartphone? If so, your question equals to "how to transfer iPod music to android phone", right?

Generally speaking, transferring music from iPod to android is a bit tricky, but not impossible. Here are two methods that may help you to easily and quickly transfer music cross platforms.

The first method recommended in this post generally involves syncing your iPod music tracks with your iTunes Music Library on your desktop PC and uploading the music files to your Google Music account. To accomplish this, you will need the Google Music Manager software. Now that your songs are uploaded to Google, you can listen to your songs via the Play Music website on your supported Web browser or via the Play Music app on your Android device.

How do i upload music from my pc to gigabeat 40gb i pod

To transfer music files to your gigabeat, simply connect it to the PC via USB cable. A gigabeat window will pop up on your screen and will direct you to WMP 11 (make sure to click the "Complete" button, or it will not take you to WMP 11). Once you're in WMP 11, assemble the list of music you wish to transfer and press "Sync". The program will automatically begin transferring data to your gigabeat.

I cannot get music to load on to my coby mp3 player

Downloading/Uploading files
1. Connect the player to PC.
2. Open WindowExplorer on PC.
3. Select the file to save and drag-and drop it into the
removable disc icon. You can also transfer file fromthe
player to your PC.
Do not remove the player while it's transferring files.
It might currupt or damage the firmware and or files
on the player. If the player is accidently removed
while transferring and does not work properly,
remove battery for 3 seconds and replace it.
Disconnecting the Player
After completing the file t ransfer, you must disconnect the
player as following direction:
Double-click on the green arrow in the taskbar on the
bottomright of the window.
When the [Stop a Hardware] message appears, press the
[OK] button and disconnect the USB port.

Carbon Pearl: Invalid Argument

Try accessing the rio's hard drive through my computer to see if it can find the songs: they will be in a folder aptly called music within your rio carbon.

If this doesn't help then if it is picked up via my computer you could try wiping and rebooting your rio, read:

You may have to change the firmware for the rio carbon pearl but this is easy to find on their website.

Hope this helps,

Won't read music

Check and make sure that the format you are trying to play is compatible with the player. For instance, iTunes files won't work with this player.

Also, you could be trying to load DRM-protected files from a service like Bearshare. Yuur screen will tell you the files are transferring, but they are really not transferring b/c they have DRM protection. There is not currently a free way that I know of to remove this DRM-encryption, although you can probably buy download rights from your music service.

Unfortunately, the ILo site is down, so their is no way to get a firmware upgrade in case this model is another victim of the Windows Media Player upgrade - WMP 11 messed up a lot of mp3 players regardless of manufacturer.

Doesnt do anything,but radio

backup the drive and all folders to your PC.
Then try Formating the Drive. create new folders, i.e music et,c.
** Please note:- The Chinese have very sneaky ways, of making these look bigger in size, than they actually are.
So if you,ve got a 4 gig, and when formatted becomes a 2 Gig.
Thats the true memory storage size.
Try this you guys, good luck.

Rio Carbon 5 g

When Microsoft initiated the DRM system, any Rio Carbon that was hooked into Windows Media Player had the previously working files invalidated. Happened to me as well. The player lasted me three years, and that is about as long as any Mp3 player is going to last we are finding out b/c of all the software snafus.
