Sims can often be a problem!!, i have two daughters with sims on their pc's and both had problems of differnt sorts when first installed and with later sims add-ons .Problems were mainly to do with graphics cards not being compatible, i had to go the sims hardware support list to check the graphics cards supported, and ended up having to change both. I recommend a minimum card of 128mb on board memory, and either an Nvidia or Ati Radeon range.

The other problem that often happens with these games is that you have to install them whilst in safe mode, otherwise they will not recognise some of the installation files. To do this press F8 at boot up and select safe mode, then when booted install from the cd in the normal way.

Oh I am sorry to hear that. There must be something wrong with the mail software or with its settings.
Are you connected to the internet?
If you can find the manual to the mail software you should be able to set the mail software correctly if not you have to visit the PC doctor.
I am certain that he can help you to put your E-mail right.

Hi,
You forgot to tell us the Motherboard type.
Click either F2 or Delete( depends on the type of board ), after you started the comp and shows the memory and HD capacity on the monitor.
Bios setting will then pop up, then go to maximum default settings....save and exit.... it will restart by itself.

Hope that helps!

The disc drive isnt recognizing some discs, I recently bought a few blank CD-RWs and when i put them in it doesnt show up in the computer.

Some optical units will simply refuse to work with some model of disks - you happened to stumble on one of these incompatibilities. Nothing you can do about it, just buy a different brand of disks.

IBM M51 ThinkCentre doesn t recognize 4gig installed memory

You can confirm this in the BIOS and i'm sure it will show 4GIG. Your Operating system maybe a 32 BIT OS, hence it will only show about 3... GIG. It's a limitation for a 32 BIT OS.

My pc just bought will not work

if you computer has a graphics card you would find a connector on the bottom, there will be two places where you can connect you computer to, one would be on the middle and the other would be near the bottom the connector woudl look blue in colour, make sure if you have a video card installed, you would see a blue colour port near the bottom and it would be horizontal, connect the monitor video cable to that port and this issue would be resolved
