You will need a source for downloading movies, and then you will have to run it through your "media converter". It will automatically convert the movie in the a readable file for the player.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I cannot figure out how to get it to play more than the 1st movie on some multi movie DVDs. Help!

Press the top menu button on the remote after putting a multi movie DVD. Scroll down on the movie file you want to play and press enter. You will see two items in each of the movie folder, Scroll down on the second item and press enter. That is the movie folder. It will play.

How do I put video's on to the the media player nextar ma715?

Movie
Press rewind button or fast forward button in main menu to select Movie function and press play button to enter Movie play.

(1) This player supports the playing of movie files in SMV format. Convert the desiredmovie(MPG,AVI,WMV format) to SMV format with transcoder software(video2smv.exe)in the attached CD (if any) or save in the player or downloaded from Internet.

(2) Movie should be put in MVIDEO folder of the player. If there is not such folder, please create one. Please note that the player cannot find those movie files if theyare not put in MVIDEO folder of the player.

Here is the Website for it. It has the PDF manual and the convert software.

Hope this helps. M~

Toshiba Gigabeat (60GB): How to put movies on?

Yes you can put movies on Gigabeat but it's time consuming and takes 3 programs to do it. We use DVDfab Platinum,3GP_Converter and Windows Media Player. If someone out there has a simpler way please post. 1st. Rip your movie to your hard drive and remember where you put it. (We've found using DVDFab Platinum it's easiest since we have PSP, Gigabeat & I-Pod and it offers a conversion program for all plus burning our home movies is a cinch.) 2nd. Open your 2nd conversion program (we use 3GP_Converter) and drop your burned movie files into it. We love the 3GP cause you just drag & drop. I don't know why the Gigabeat needs an extra conversion but it does, my PSP is easier to get movies onto. =( 3rd. Open your now fully converted movie with Windows Media Player. And you know the rest: just sync. While I love my Gigabeat it's pretty ridiculous to have to do all this to watch one little movie because it doesn't always work. However, unlike my PSP I can put a whole bunch of movies & pics & music on my gigabeat without running out of room! My husband is a computer geek and has tried several programs and this is the easiest way he's found to rip movie, yikes!
