Series wiring of a 4 ohm DVC subwoofer will result in an 8 ohm load.
See the following diagram.
The diagram listed has a dual 2 ohm voicecoil, netting 4 ohm, however in your case, the dual 4 ohm sub will net an 8 ohm load.

It seems that you have bad connection at somewhere.Check your connection else better rewire from the head unit.Make sure to solder and insulate the connections to ensure electricity is getting where you need it to. I have a budda superdrive 30 II amp and have a setting question. I made a 2-12 cabinet to hook to this amp. Each speaker is 4 ohms. They are wired to their own output jack. My amp has 2 outputs for...

You best rewire the cabinet to put the two speakers in series. Wire one speaker plus to minus of the other and bring the other lead, one from each speaker to your jack on the cabinet. The amp output impedance is what is set on the switch... for two 8 ohm speakers you would use both jacks to the two speakers BUT ssince you have 4 ohm speakers the ONLY option is for two in series and set the switch to 8 ohms. The amp is ONLY 30 Watts so don't expect too much sound output... You should get a nice CLEAN sound at a reasonable level. If you drive the amp too hard it will clip and you will get garbage.

Replace rear speaker 2000 es300

You need to check to see if it is an external amp or an amp that is built in with the speakers. They may be 2ohm factory speakers on that stock system, if so you may need a rewire. take a look at the rears and see if you see a small amp. Its Lexus so hopefully it will be a straight forward swap. get back to me if needed.
