Question about Dymo LetraTAG Thermal Label Printer

I am trying to print and keep getting tape jam message. There is still plenty of tape in the cartridge and it moves freely.

This is a very easy fix. Change the batteries and you should be good to go.

Printer not detecting catridges


If a print cartridge(s) missing or not detected or carriage jam message appears, the carriage may have encountered an obstruction or is not moving as expected.try this....

1.turn the product off and on again.
2.clear any jam paper.
3.make sure that the cartridge moves freely.
4.Remove and reinstall the cartridge.
5.perform hard reset

Whenever i try to print it does 1/2 page then the cartridge keeps getting stalled on one side. Error message on screen says print cartridge stalled, error message on printer says clear carraige jam. Cannot...


If there's a carriage jam. While the printer is turned on, Open the access door of you printer.
If the carriage is stuck at the left side, try moving it manually by hand to the right most part of the window. If it's stuck on the right, try moving it by hand to the left.
If you've already done that. While the printer is turned on, unplug the power cord from the back. Close the access door. And then plug it back in.
Make sure you restart the computer first just to avoid documents getting stuck in the print queue. Try printing again. Usually it does the trick.

After cartridge replacement will not print alignment page says print head is obstructed but no evidence for this orange lights at top of control panel flashing along with colour print yellow light power...


try manually moving the carriage and see if it will move freely if it will not move.. there is the possiblity of minute peices of paper jammed under the carriage.
if the carriage moves freely... clean the contacts on the cartridges as well as the contacts on the carriage

Message shows 'clear paper jam then press check mark....no paper jammed in printer but it will not reset.


message keeps showing print cartridge cradle cannot move, I have check everything, no paper jams nothing under printer, I am turned off printed but keep getting same message.

All lights keep blinking!tried unplugging and reinstalling.Dead?


If the Resume c00121686.jpg light continues to blink and the print cartridge cradle does not move to the right side of the printer, try these solutions:
  • Remove and reinstall the print cartridges. Verify that the print cartridges are in the print cartridge cradle before pushing them forward into position.
  • Verify that no obstruction prevents the print cartridge cradle from moving freely on the rod.
  • Verify that the vinyl tape has been removed from each of the print cartridges.
If the problem persists, contact HP Customer Care.

C5280 print cartridges can't move


Open the front door and look inside, where the cartridges are installed. Make sure that the carriage is moving freely and doesn't get locked.

Carriage Jam


Make sure you can move the print cartridge holder freely and that it isn't being blocked by anything inside the printer, also check if the cleaning station is in the right position, maybe it is locking the cartridges.

Paper jam?


Check Paper light flashes but there isn't a paper related problem The check paper light may also flash if there are other problems. Verify the following conditions:
  • Verify that the print cartridge door is closed.
  • The print carriage may be jammed, follow these steps to correct the problem:
    1. Open the print cartridge access door. If the print carriage can move, it should move to center. If the print carriage stays all the way left, unplug the power cord and then plug it back in. This will reset the unit and may allow the print carriage to move from the left.
    2. Disconnect the power cord from the all-in-one.
    3. Remove both print cartridges.
    4. Move the print carriage left and right slightly to verify that the print carriage will move freely. If the print carriage will not move freely, check for obstructions.
    5. Close the print cartridge access door.
    6. Plug the power cord back in.
    7. After the all-in-one initializes, the print cartridge light will flash. Open the access door and install the print cartridges.
    8. Close the print cartridge access door. If the problem returns, remove the print cartridges and wipe the electrical contacts before reinstalling them.
  • Try to make a copy. If the all-in-one pulls in paper but cannot make a copy, there may be a problem with the scanner mechanism. Contact HP for assistance.

Deskjet 3845 not printing properly


it needs a proper service as the moving parts are not moving freely .. or maybe when installing the cartridge you have damagaed one of the sensors .. it can be one of both
