I have researched this and found that this is a memory error. You will need to replace your ram.Borrow some from a friend that has the same type to make sure. If that doesn't fix it, then it could be bad capacitors. If its the caps then you could replace them yourself if your handy with a soldering iron.Search "Bad Caps"and here's a place to find a tut to replce them badcaps.net
Hope this helps.

Something has physically changed in the laptop. Did you add any new equipment prior to this? If you haven't changed anything you will need a PC tech to look at your laptop. If you have, remove it and put it back the way it was. Then try again using the last know good configuration option.

STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} .. 0xc0000005

The first thing you should do is back up the HDD, Remove the HDD from your Laptop, you find the lid that opens the HDD access slot under the laptop or ask someone who knows how. if available there are aftermarket 2.5 HD enclosures that lets you install the 2.5 in.hdd of your laptop via a usb. you can plug the usb to a desktop PC and backup your files. then reformat your hdd. reinstall the hdd to your laptop. replace your memory ram which causes the blue screen with a new ram, reinstall the OS.

HP LAPTOP PROBLEM

Hi there

As knotbeerdan says you may need to repair Windows.

If the laptop is Windows XP, find a Windows XP system disk (the restore disk it came with or any system disk.

Put it in the CD drive and start the laptop.

When it gives you the option, type in R to repair Windows.

It may come to C: prompt.

Type in "chkdsk". This should check the hard drive for errors.

After this restart the laptop. Hopefully Windows will run properly again

Verify the setting via Manage accounts on your XP machine (the one the email client works on) in whatever email client you use on it and verify and edit if need be the setting in your Windows Live Mail on your Vista home Laptop.
