First make sure the circuit breaker on the house 9the one for the dryer) is not popped. it takes only one leg of the 220 to turn the dryer, but it takes both to heat it. If the circuit breakers are ok, you need to check the heating element, and the internal fuses in the dryer.

MY MISTAKE, IT LOOKS AS IF YOU HAVE A GAS DRYER.....

check the ignitor. if that is fine, you may have a bad fuse in the dryer

Hello & Welcome to FixYa

As everything in your dryer is working fine apart from it heating properly so the recommended repair will be thermal fuse/thermostat replacement. However, you can also test its continuity before replacement. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Lightning strike power surge partially disabled dryer.(Whirlpool)

If it took a lightning strike something in the heating coil is shorting to ground tripping the breaker. DO NOT Keep trying it, you could cause more damage or even burn your house down.

Whirlpool dryer model LEB6000PQ0 its not heating up anymore''it starts it turns but the clothes dont dry its only 2 yrs old.

check your breaker first.A dryer will run on 110 but wont heat.if not breaker it could be your thermal fuse or element.the thermal fuse is located on element cage, unplug machine and test for continuity to your thermal cut off fuse which will be the top one on cage and check continuity to element.

No heats from the dryer. the mechine is 4 yrs old.

First thing is to check the fuses. Often there is a separate line for the heating elements. If that fuse or circuit breaker is tripped there is no heat but the dryer will still turn.

There are heating elements behind the drum that may need to be replaced if broken. Also check thermostat control.
