Just got the CD445 Base Station. Red light keeps blinking
Cannot get the red light to stop flashing on my CD445. I read the Addendum that came in the box: it says in idele mode to press the "redial/mute" button for a 'long press'. Nothing happens light is on. HELP. I have accessed messages and erased them all on the Caller Line Identification

Hi the handset for the telephone (philips) is blinking red and the screen indicates to new calls and i ereased all messages and still blinking with a new calls .any one can help me plz? thank you so much
You're an idiot. The flashing red light is ON HIS CHARGER FOR HIS WIIMOTES. So why the hell would it be a sync issue with the wiimotes and the wii console? READ the WHOLE question before making yourself look stupid.
The red blinking light is an 'event' light, it does not necessarily mean a message is waiting for you, it will also start to flash if you have a missed call.
click 'up' on the round button to show the missed calls list and it will stop flashing, at least it does on mine!
The 500A base station is definitely compatible with the 510 earpiece. If the earpiece is turned off or unpaired the base station's red power light will be flashing. If the earpiece is already off, try turning it on by holding down the little black button on top. The base station will automatically try to find the earpiece and the blue light on top of the base will come on. If the earpiece is already on (slow flashing blue light on the mic boom) turn it off and back on again and wait for the base to find it.
Make sure the headpiece is charged. Turn the headpiece off by pressing the little black button on top of the earpiece and holding for about 5 seconds. Turn the earpiece back on again the same way. You should have a slow flashing blue light on the mic boom. The base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.
If this doesn't work you may need to manually pair the earpiece to the base by pressing and holding the Listen Volume Adjust + Button and headset Call Control Button on the earpiece until the light on the mic boom flashes red and blue repeatedly. As above, the base station will now try to find the earpiece and within about 20 seconds the red light on the base should be steady and blue light on top should be on.
Call yourself from one of the hand sets. As soon as the voice starts talking hit the pound key ( # ). When asked for your password, either enter your password, your last 4 difits of your phone number, or, the last four reversed. Then just follow the instructions.
The blinking red light usually means that there is a voice message that is NOT stored on the base station.
