If you know where the settings are in your menu delete them and call your service provider, ask them to send you the settings for Internet/WAP/MMS not all together, do one at a time. They are sent as a txt msg, when you receive the txt, select Save or Install.
You can't inter change the SIM card to another service provider. without changing the Internet/MMS/WAP settings.
the phone could be tapped in some way meaning some body could of hacked thoguth the imei number and that means when a message gets sent to your phone and u reply they can be taking your credit this might be the case but it has been known
I think the problem is your phone has some settings that disabled your SMS functions so I suggest you to try and put your SIM card in another phone and try sendng SMS. If it works, try Reset Settings from the K800i. If it doesn't work, try changing a SIM card from your service provider.
I have had this problem for a few weeks and finally sent it back for reflashing as that seems to be the only solution. I got it back and it still does it but it has been reflashed since it has the latest revision (which it didn't have before)...
It has to go back :(
try to change a SIM in your phone, then try to send a message. If it worked so your SIM must have the problem, if not try check your settings if the fixed dialling is activated, if so, try to deactivate or off it.
