  • Anonymous Feb 20, 2009

    this is a common problem.

you have to use riva flv converter then convert the video into avi for dvd type movies you have to break the dvd up into 15 minute chunks.

The mp3 player may not support some of the files you are trying to put on, find a file which is supported by the mp3 player and put it on. if you think this is happening due to technical error ask phillips about it and see what they have to say about it.

How to put videos on your iPod Nano/Touch?

Most of us watch YouTube videos, enjoy DVD movies, and do you want to playback these videos on your iPod? iPod touch both looks and operates pretty much like iPhone with the touch-screen, a much better screen for watching videos. The newest iPod nano also supports video with great picture quality. Here, the following guide is to you on how to put videos on iPod nano/touch.

Step 1: Convert to iPod supported videos

Most of the video files are not MP4 formats that can not be directly used on iPod, please make sure the format is compatible with iPod , if not, you should use some video converters to do the conversion, give this iSkysoft ipod movie converter a try, which can convert all various video formats to iPod MP4 formats.

More information please go to http://www.hd-dvd-ripper.net/ipod-movie-converter.html#139
Step 2: Add files to iTunes

Obviously, using iTunes to sync files to iPod is the choice of many iPod users. After converting the videos, Open iTunes and click "File" to add the videos you just converted to iTunes library;

Step 3: Plug in your iPod to computer, then iTunes will detect your iPod as a device.

Step4: Select your iPod device on the left panel of iTunes, click "Movies" tab, check the videos you want to sync and click "Apply", done.

Ok, just enjoy YouTube videos, DVD movies, TV shows and lots of regular videos on your iPod nano/touch so easily!

Firstly i am not able to understand your problem correctly. What i think your problem i am writing solution according to that.

Try playing in different player or better player like vlc which can play all types of media files.
May be there is some problem in your player caching. As caching needed everytime u play a movie.Try uninstalling your player then reinstalling.

WHEN I BURN A MOVIE IT WON'T SHOW UP ON DVD DISC

Sounds like it may have burned the movie file as a data DVD.

In other words, the file gets burned to the DVD just like a Word doc or spreadsheet would, rather than encoded as a movie.

You need to check what format you downloaded it in - it may need conversion before burning as a movie DVD.

You can run a quick web search for *** (your current file format - mpg, divx, etc.) to DVD and find a free utility for conversion.

Then your burning software should be able to burn it as a movie DVD, ready for your player.

WD Hard Drive will not pull up pictures of home movie i made

It seems like you do not have a picture viewer associated with the image file format that you save the pictures in.
Did you try opening a graphics program and then opening the pictures from there?

Install IrfanView if needed, opens almost anything image related.
