What i would do is shop around for printers that have the features/abilities you want and find/click on the system requirements to see if it works on your operating system.

i would start by going to and type in BUY ALL IN ONE PRINTER and check out the listings.

I get os 601.64

Compatibility problem - the driver is for an older Windows version than the one you are running. Try installing it in compatibility mode . If that still doesn't work then all that's left is to wait for HP to create drivers for your printer that specifically made for your OS.

Printer kodak pp300 is not working on windows 7

I Recommend you Go back to an older verison of windows as the Host OS such as Vista, XP, Or 2000, and if you have 2GB of ram download Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 SP1 and install windows 7 as the Guest OS with 1GB physiccal memory and 128 mb video memory, another virtualisation client i use is sun mocrosystems xVM Virtual Box. i was unable to do ths as my system only has 1GB ram.

if not yocan dual boot windows 7 without any confilcts, click the start button in vista and type 'compmgmt.msc' click the first result on the list. then doubble Click Sotrage, forlowed by disk managment right click Disk 0 partition 1 aka C: and click shrink volume if a dilago box apeas asking how much to shrink by accept the defaults. You shloud now se an un alocated space, right click that and click new simple volume, go through the wizzard, again accepting all defaults.
The Partition Will Automaticly begin formattimg, now is a good time to make a note of the size of the partition you wish to installl win 7 to beacuse you will need to identify the partition later. after fomatting is complete, insert windows 7 into your dvd drive and rebot if your system says "press any key to boot form cd or dvd...' press any key to continue and folow the setup wizard instructions to intall windows 7 to tne new volume. if not you need to hnag your CMOS Settup to boot from cd first this can be acheevied by repeditly pressing Delete, F2 or Escape upon startup and using the arow keys to change settings

My lexmark printer is not printing from the computer. i have windows 7 on my computer . could it be that it is not compatible with windows 7?

You are correct this printer is not supported under Windows 7. There are workarounds that may work if you want to try them.

First option is the compatibility mode. To try this, download the driver for an older OS version from the Lexmark site, , and right click on the installer. Then choose Properties and then the Compatibility tab. Turn on Run program as Compatible with the appropriate OS. Then right click again on the installer and choose Run as Administrator. Then check if the program itself is running in the compatibility mode by right clicking again and choosing Properties. This is more likely to work if you have Windows 7 32-bit. I do not know if this will work for your specific printer.

A method that will work is to use a computer (virtual, dual-boot, or true second machine) with an older version of Windows installed. If you have Win7 Pro or Ultimate, you can create a virtual XP computer for free. Download and install Virtual PC and XP mode from Microsoft. Install them in order. Then install the XP software from the above site in the virtual computer and it will work. (Other virtual computer programs are Parallels and VMWare.) All of the other options will require a licensed version of the older Windows OS. Please note that the virtual computer can't share files directly with the main computer. You'll need to save files to external or removable media (optical media or flash drive, for example) to share them.

I hope this helps.

You need a compatible driver to link the printer. Check online for driver compatability with older OS.

The BJC-2000 is an older printer. If you are trying to run the original CD, it's probably not compatible with your (newer) operating system. Go here to get the most current driver. If you have Windows Vista, use the driver that is already in Windows. (Click Add Printer, select Canon, then look for the BJC-2000)
