I cannot acces the built in camera on my Acer all in one desktop

Can we assume the camera is built in to the monitor? No mater where the camera is you need a software app to actually use the camera. Have you tried installing Skype, it has a good camera test.

Find from the software programs on the computer windows media player on the WIN 7 OS. once opened would detect the built in camera.

You can either use Skype or download the driver from Acer, if you dowload the driver it shoul put an icon on your desktop

yeah sure it is made for that purpose for video conf and picture taking just go to start>all programs>Acer Crystal Eye folder u will find the icon there just make a shortcut from there to ur desktop if u dont find it there then just go to "C:\Windows\Acer Crystal Eye Webcam.exe"

otherwise ur webcam utility is not installed just download the utility from

un install all soft were of camera
clean you temp from ducument and sitting local sitting temp
restart your pc
tray again

try reinstalling this product

click my computer and click your camera.u

swivel the camera to face the rear of your notebook and you may here the bing bong of it connecting in windows, turn it back the right way, open up the camera and keep clicking the cam startup button, and it will eventually come on, this is a bad recurring acer fault
