    Hi there,

Have you tried connecting it to iTunes and doing a restore. Has it been hacked to your knowledge? A restore will fix it but will lose all the apps, videos and music it has already installed. To prevent total loss use a program to extract them from the ipod.

    All the best
    Sean

I am unsure why you are having this proble, itunes is part of the default applications for the ipod touch. It should be on the screen as an icon with a musical note symbol surrounded with a circle and the colour of the icon is a lightish purple,

Hope this helps.

When I click on the Mail icon on my ipod touch, I just get a black screen. My touch is 18 months old and I've always been able to retrieve my mail no problem. Any ideas?

The problem could be the Mail application or the email account itself. I searched this problem but it seems that this is NOT a common issue.

First, you may want to try delete the email account from the iPod Touch and re-create it. However, you need to check first the web mail to see if you have the copy of the messages on the web server itself.

If you setup a POP account on your iPod Touch for your email, then the messages could have been deleted after the iPod downloaded the messages. If you have the messages, then go ahead and delete and re-create the email account.

If same problem occur, then it's the Mail application. You need to send your iPod Touch to the Apple Store near you, so that they could reload or re-install the application to your iPod.

Thank you and good luck!

I have downloded applications from torrent but i did not know how to synk them to my ipod touch...........no application tab appeares on the top when i click on my ipod icon????????

Most if not all ipod apps and games are DRM protected, this means that they will only work with the system they were bought at. Most of the games that are floating around on the web can be downloaded to itunes, via hacking the files and other various methods, but when you go to sync them, unless you have that person's itunes store account information, you can't sync them to your ipod. Not to mention that torrenting is technically illegal. Also a bought file can only be synced to 5 systems. After that, they become useless. But in any case, you can try looking up ipod hacks online but in the long run it is probably more work then it is worth. Its like trying to copy Wii Console games from one Wii to another, it just doesn't work. Again, you can try and with luck and maybe a miracle, it might work but more likely then not, it won't
