Question about MSI 7082-010 (661FM3-V) P4 LGA775/SiS 661FX/SATA/A&V&L Motherboard (NEWITEM63750495)
My msi 7082 can only ready 20GB hard disk only?..why?..and i cant even reformat my Sata 80GB in my mis 7082, and even when i try to insert 80gb and 40gb hdd after the loading of windows it always turn to blue screen and restart..
Your board specifications are here - http://www.msicomputer.com/product/p_spec.asp?model=661FM3-L&class=mb
This sounds like a memory timing issue based on the caution from the MSI page. There is no reason the board itself should have a problem with that size hard drive. Have you reset the bios to factory default and tried the various compatibility settings available in the bios?
