I have the same issue, every time I turn my camera on I have this problem. In the user manual it says to take the battery out for one minute and put it back in and turn on. This may help for someone else's camera, but it sure didn't do anything for me.

Mine does the same thing. I contacted Sony and went thru a brief troubleshooting session with some Indian dude and it resulted in him telling me to send it in for $91.00 for repair. If anyone else knows how to fix this, please let us all know!

Hi Guys

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news :(

Both your camera`s lenses are faulty.

The lens unit is only available as a complete unit from Sony. Your best bet would be to contact the retailer where you bought it and ask him for the details for your nearest Sony Service centre. It needs to be a Authorised service centre as there are software and settings that must be done after a lens replacement.

In my experience repair cost will be between 40 and 60 % of the price you paid for the camera.

Sorry there really is not anything you can do yourselves to fix these problems.

Good luck

I get 1 beeb followed by 3 beebs followed by 2 beebs then nothng happens dell diemension 8400

Your computer might emit a series of beeps during start-up if the monitor cannot display errors or problems. This series of beeps, called a beep code, identifies a problem. One possible beep code (code 1-3) consists of one beep, a burst of three beeps. This beep code tells you that the computer encountered a memory problem
you need to reseat your memmry modules just remove them and place them back in the same or a diffrant slot this cold be loose connection by connecting them again you fix it

My vivicam 5022 turns then beebs twice and like falls asleep

Your problem may be due to weak/worn out batteries or corrosion on the battery contacts inside the camera which can prevent the full power of the batteries from flowing into the camera. Try this free fix before you do anything else: remove the batteries and wipe the camera contacts firmly with a dry cloth (heavy corrosion may require cleaning with a wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that may have fallen into the battery compartment during cleaning, then wipe both ends of the batteries and place them back in the camera. This cleaning clears the problem about 90% of the time. If it doesn't work for you, your batteries may need to be replaced, or the camera may have a problem that requires professional repair.

If this response helped, please post a rating for me. A rating of "Very Helpful" would be appreciated . . .

My pc won't start after I reset the cmos it only says beeb all the time over and over again. i can't find the manual to find out why it says beeb. the motherborad name is: ca63-sn rev. a1

The beeb you are hearing is a code being sent by the motherboard specifically the chipset on the motherboard. Count the beeps and go to the maufacture web site and look up the BIOS beep code that the manufacture uses. It will tell you what is wrong with the PC motherboard. My guess is obviously a hardware issue possibly the power supply is not working correctly and the motherboard is shutting down to protect itself. Good luck
