- how are you connected to the internet now?

Dec 26, 2008

- ok so you downloaded the driver already.

lets do this ---

go to devive manager and double-click on the Network adapter that has the Exclamation point--
in the new box, click Driver and click uninstall, just to make sure it's disconnected.
exit device manager

go to this link to download CCleaner

http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

Download, Install and run it

**
Click on the TOOLS tab on the left side. Scroll to the Broadcom wireless 802.11g network adapter software and click on it (DO NOT REMOVE LAN software)
Click on the Run Installer to uninstall the software
**
Click on the REGISTRY tab on the left side
click on Scan For Issues
click on Fix Selected Issues
If it asks you to make a backup click yes and save
**
Click on the CLEANER button on the left side
click on Analyze
click on Run Cleaner
Close CCleaner

Restart your computer
when it boots up try to install the file you downloaded.

let me know what happened ---
