Unfortunately the whole screen will have to be replaced. Depending on the model number, you can pick one up on ebay for $60 - $160. Sorry this isn't the greatest news, but please take a moment to give a fixya rating for answering your question. Thanks!

Its a crack inside my screen and i didnt know how to fix it so i opened my tablet to see what was wrong and i didnt see anythning. so i put it back together and its not turning on!!!!!!! please hel

(1) Is the battery charged? I'd connect the charger for at least 10 to 15 seconds anyway, while doing the following step.

(2)Are you holding the Power button long enough when you try to restart the tablet? It will need to be held down for a few seconds (perhaps 5 or 6) while you wait for the TRIO start-up screen to appear. Once it gets there leave the tablet to boot up fully.
If that does happen without further glitches should be able to go back to using the tablet as before.

(Was it working even with a cracked screen? Were you able to get the cracked touch-screen - I'm assuming that was what is cracked- to accept your fingertouch-inputs? Can you select items from all areas of the screen? If it was doing THAT, and it does it again NOW, I'd forget about the cracked screen , put a screen-protector on my tablet and press on ahead! Lucky dog!)

Crack inside screen, doesn't let me control it.

Touch screen have an X/Y axis running from top to bottom and side to side. If the crack appears, one or more conncetions will be shorted out and the screen fails. Looks like you need a new unit.

to learn to live with the crack is the cheapest way...
replacing a screen on a iPad 2 without retina display is probably not worth to do as it costs more than $ 115.-: broken-screen-ipad-2-5pbenidrunnezg3x00ddpv4y-5-0.jpg

Forgot username and password for IBM thinkpad x41

Back up your most important data to an external storage device in case anything goes wrong while changing the BIOS settings. Remove any disc that is currently inserted in the IBM Thinkpad X41's disc drive.
2-Shut off the Thinkpad X41 laptop. Turn the laptop back on and wait for the "To interrupt normal startup, press the blue Access IBM button" message to appear on the screen.
3-Tap the blue Access IBM button at the top of the keyboard. Click the "Access BIOS" button when the "Rescue and Recovery" menu appears.
4-Click "Yes" and wait for the BIOS to load. Type in the current BIOS password for the IBM X41 and press Enter.5-Navigate over to the IBM's "Security" heading by tapping the right arrow key twice. Scroll down to the "Supervisor Password" listing and press "F5."6-Type the IBM's current BIOS password and hit Enter. Leave the next field blank if you want to completely remove the BIOS password, or instead type in a new password to replace the old one. Press Enter.7-Press "Escape" and then highlight "Restart" and press F5. Navigate to "Save changes and Restart" and press Enter.

    Display crack

Honestly it may cost less just buying a new laptop. Screens can cost more than a new laptop =[

You can use an external monitor if you do not plan on moving the laptop around too much.
