Hi Saranya,

I think I understand now what you mean having done a double translation of your post. You have somehow lost the password on your laptop. Apple Macs are very good at hiding passwords and making it difficult to break into. Some stole my password protected laptop and they have practically stolen a very expensive Brick! My advice is to try to reinstall your entire operating system which means erasing the whole drive.

All the best
Mr Pi

The computer fan can be heard when the computer is started but the screen does not light up. What do I try next? The computer is the one piece macbook with a 13 inch screen one and one-half years old.

> what do I try next?

Take it to an authorized Apple repair depot, for service, whether the warranty is still valid, or even if the warranty has expired.

I have a apple mac and when i want to downloading a game or something,it cant.Because of the dos mode how do i get it off on a laptop apple mac? P.S. Sorry for the bad english

There is no DOS in Apple's Operating System. You need to ensure that you are downloading a valid application for the Mac. These applications are usually .app, .dmg, .pkg files.
Look to see if the place where you are downloading the game has a Mac version available.

I have a apple ibook G4 computer but its locked and i dont have any cd's fofr it. How do i unlock the computer?

Unfortunately, there is no way to distinguish a valid request of this type from the legitimate owner of a laptop, and a request from someone who wants access to a stolen laptop. If you are the legitimate owner of the laptop, I suggest you contact an authorized Apple tech to have this inexpensive work performed for you.

You cannot break apple's security as simply as windows. It would mean getting a unix boot cd, and logging in as root (if the apple lets you) and trying to unlock the OSX account... not easy.
Just go get a snow leopard DVD from apple for £29 ($49) and enjoy a decent OS...

I bought my friends apple computer and i cant get a hold of him so i cant use the computer cuz its locked and i don't have the password

Unfortunately, we have no means of separating valid requests of this type from requests posted by people with stolen laptops. When work of this type arrives at our shop, we have the means to unlock the Mac, but we will perform content and serial number checks to ensure the machine was acquired properly. And yes, we have identified stolen machines in this manner. Even stipulating that you are an honest owner, posting unlocking instructions here would empower other readers who are not. If you can't get hold of your friend, I recommend you bring your machine in to an Apple-certified establishment and have the work performed for you.

Sir i dont know how to register new laptop online as i bought my laptop yesterday

this link is probably what you look for:
To register you can also call apple and give them your serial number located in the apple menu about this mac - press twice on Version 10.5.x.
Your mac should be already registered if you were connected to the internet at startup

My macbook won't boot at all, not even to the gray screen with the apple on it. I can hear it trying to boot, as the cd drive makes its typical noise when you turn it on. It was kernel panicking earlier...

Put the install disk that came with your laptop into your laptop, hopefully it might boot into the disk, what you have to do is hold down C until it boots. then fix the problem with utility manager.
I hope that works for you since the screen will not show the grey screen. If this does not work, there may be something wrong with the screen or the firmware, if that is true then i would suggest taking to your local Apple store and explain your problem to a mac genius and they will sort you out in no time.
Hope i have been helpful,
