I waited until the next day and called the eveready battery cmpany and they said I didn't need to take the screws out - just turn the ring around the bulb and the whole front came off and we reached in and toook out the thing that held the batteres and place them in the holder! simple - when you know how! ha

My lad was messing with my htc s710 and put a new password into phone and i cant get into phone any ideas

to hard reset the htc s 710.

1) switch off the phone first,
2) again switch it on....and as soon as the green led starts blinking (indication of phone coming to life) immedietly press and hold both the soft keys at a time, and follow the instruction given on u r phone screen. :)

This should wipe the phone completely, including the password.

I have a Unitech model PT-815 that will not power up.I received the unit today from my company and it did not come with the lithium ion batteries.I have installed new AA Eveready akaline and it still will...

You have to clean the contact terminals of the batteries, but most likely no longer serve the terminal. You should uncover the terminal and check it thoroughly. If you want to repair it, I have spare parts.

Cant figure out how to open back of phone to put in new battery

First: you need to simply remove the back; then after you remove the back the battery will be there. If it wasnt removed simply remove the battery from the back of the phone without it getting wet. There might be some slight difculty doing this. What you have to do is ; slam the back of you're phone; on you're thigh if you have anyproblems. also place the sim card in behind the battery u will find the sim card slot; . Then place it in the slot facing up wards.

Thank You; :-* Hope it works!

Treo 650 keyboard stuck

Sure. This involves taking the phone apart. Fortunately, it isn't difficult. Go to "mytreo.net, and find the BUZZ FIX. It will give you instructions with photos of how to open your 600 and perform the BUZZ FIX. Do that while you have the phone open. You will disconnect the battery in that process. Carefully lift the board that the battery is mounted on and this will expose the KEYPAD. Remove it, clean the keypad, and the pressure contacts below it -- carefully with a Q-tip and a little water and perhaps a little alcohol. Put the keypad back in place. Put the board back in place. Reconnect the battery after performing the BUZZ FIX (you may as well do it while you have the unit apart because you will have the buzz sooner or later). Put the case back together. Tighten the screws. Turn the unit on and make a call. If it doesn't work then you are in trouble.

Dell Axim X51V

I have the same problem. I've found that the Innopocket magnum case will hold the cover in place and pretty much stop it doing this. Unfortunately, the case won't fit if you have an extended battery. I've tried taping down the cover with some success, but the hard case worked better.
