Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
Please help. I am a dumb mum, bought from ebay a 2nd hand 1002k with 1.50 firmware says you can play iso / cso games, which were supplied. There was only a 32 mb stick supplied so Have tried 4gb and 1gb mem stick pro duo. Have tried formatting mem stick on computer and psp, it has games on it and works in other sons psp but says there are no games when inserted in this psp. So does this psp have official firmware?I I bought it for my 10yr old as his only xmas present and he is devastated that he has 27 games which he can't play. Is there anywhere in around Brisbane I can take it to to get changed as I just don't really understand how to do stuff and I am busy with baby and toddler and two other kids?I am so relieved to find your helpful site.Thankyou, what should I do or what is wrong?
The firmware you are talking about is a chiped psp, iso and cso games mean that they have been copied and put on the pc so u can play them for free, but there is one problem u need to 'chip' your psp the way u can do this is get 'pandoras battery' and 'magic memory stick' and chip it, do it manualy from help sites on the internet or get a friend thats psp is 'chiped and ask him to chip yours with his battary and memory stick
