I have a 2000 Cadillac eldorado and my car keeps heating up. I have replaced everything. Could it be my freeze plugs

If the cooling fans are running and the radiator is full and clean you may have a blown head gasket or cracked head. Does it blow white smoke out the exhaust if yes it's a head gasket and the heads will have to come off, is the belt turning the water pump?. That's all there is I hope this helps. Take care.

Either there is a fault in the power supply to the heating coils, or the heating coils have burned out. A multimeter will come in handy at this point to check continuity across the terminals to the heating coils, and to test current supply to the coils. Be very very careful since you are dealing with 220 volts. If you do not feel comfortable doing it yourself, call an appliance repairman.

Hi lvadim1993,
In other word your PC works intermittently. Here is what you have to do. Check and remove the processor cooling fan and heat sink clean the cooling fan and heat sink. If you have a thermal compound remove the old thermal compound and put a little amount at the center of the heat sink. Reinstall it back the processor cooling fan and heat sink and make sure It install properly even and snag tight. re plug in the cooling fan connector to the motherboard. If you have a video card remove and clean the video card connector and the cooling fan and heat sink with air blower same also to the memory card. Use the air blower to clean the motherboard and the entire internal of the PC. Reinstall the video card and the memory card and make sure that they are install properly. replug in the video cable and the pc power cord and turn on the PC. this will work. the computer is just over heating. I hope that this information will help you solve the problem.

I've had my acer aspire (5315) laptop for over 2 years

Hello,

Sometimes, the CPU heat sink fan might get clogged up or faulty or stop spinning entirely. Make sure that the fan can turn properly.

IF YOU CAN, open the unit when the battery is disconnected and the power is not connected, then reseat the CPU Heat sink and re-apply a eye drop heat sink thermal paste onto the CPU. Reconnect and tighten everything again properly and adhere to the sequence in turning the screws back as per their numbering on the heat-sink

If the FAN has trouble spinning, doesn't turn at all or is noisy and runs irregular please replace the fan. The fan alone should cost about a few US $.

when you turn on pc> press f2 on your keyboard> you'll go to the bios or blue scree> look for advance and you'll see where you can configure the setting for your fan.
