My guess is that the drivers for the 3G modem are not installed. That's why flipping the 3G switch does nothing, and the software doesn't pick it up. Verify first that the drivers are installed correctly... once this is established you should be working fine. Go to the driver update site as well. Windows Updates may have this driver as well check online. john
50% of this problem may cause because of the damaged card.please check the card..by inserting any other card .....
40% of the problem may cause because of the card reader .please check it also by replacing any other card reader(this may cause because of the dry soldering by over heating of the card for this you have to contact a service centre)
The problem may also cause because of any virus.please scan the memory with any good version of updated antivirus
It sounds like you may need newer drivers for your SD card you can update the driver by
Open your Control Panel. Click Start, then Control Panel. Double click the System icon and choose the Device Manager tab. Find the device for which you want to update the driver. Click the plus sign (+) next to the various categories, click on the device you want to update, and then click on “Properties” and the “Driver” tab.
Then click the “Update Driver” button. A dialog box will walk you through the process. Choose “Display a list of drivers ...,” then choose the “Have Disk” button and use the dialog box to find the “driver files” folder you created on your desktop. Choose the “.INF” file in that folder and click OK. The system will update the appropriate driver. If there is more than one .INF file, try each one until you get a successful install. Finally, reboot your machine so that the new driver can take effect.
