When i used to keep the sim in my dell 1464 the sim slot is bigger than my sim card can any one suggest me how to use that

Computers don't support SIM cards, so don't insert. If you are referring to an SD slot, just pick up an adapter. You can get a universal one on eBay real cheap.

When I insert an SD card into the card slot, I get a msg saying Windows has found errors with the card and wants to run CHKDSK.. Afyer CHKDSK runs , if I try to access the card, but it can't be written...

Dear edward,
Solution1. 50% of this problem may cause because of the damaged card.please check the card..by inserting any other card .....
Solution 2 40% of the problem may cause because of the card reader .please check it also by replacing any other card reader(this may cause because of the dry soldering by over heating of the card for this you have to contact a service centre)
Solution 3 The problem may also cause because of any virus.please scan the memory with any good version of updated antivirus

My gsp only has a sd card no usb slot so how do i transfer the update to my gps Thanks

Depending on the type of GPS you have, you have a few options...

If the update instructs you to put the update files on the SD card, you need a means for your computer to access the SD card. This can be done by using an USB SD card reader, which can be picked up at your local electronics, digital photography store or online.

If you have another device that allows the transfer of data between a computer and the device (and it uses SD cards), you can put the SD card for you GPS into your other device, connect it to the computer through USB, and transfer the update files. For example, if your digital camera uses an SD card, you could put the GPS SD card into the camera, and then connect the camera to the computer.

Make sure you're updating correctly - sometimes the update is a file you run on your PC that in turn transfers files through a different means onto the GPS. Read the manual for your GPS for more information regarding transferring files onto the GPS and updating.

Wireless help

My dear! alway remember that when you use any new hardware you should install driver first and then plug it with CPU. So it could be possible that when you install driver first then card will pick and work properly.
Thank You

How does sandisk 1 gb work and where do i put it?

If you have a sd card reader on your computer then simply slot it into the card reader and windows will pick the card up so you can transfer (copy paste, or cut and paste) the pictures onto your computer. Or is you have not card reader on your computer you can by a sd card adapter that can slot inside the usb port and will do the same thing a card reader would. They are very cheap and can be picked up in most electrical outlets that deal with pc's

I hope this helps

SanDisk 4 GB SDHC card won't work in any of my devices

I was having the same problem. It seems that older card readers (2008 and earlier) won't recognize SD cards larger than 2GB. You should first check with your PC mfg., or the card reader mfg. web site to see if there are any firmware or driver updates. If so, update the firmware and drivers and try it again. In my case it worked! Your Blackberry may need a firmware or driver update as well.

Good luck!
