Can't find screen part for sony rear projection tv Model# KP61565

I was moving my television home and the screen blew out on the highway. I can't find the part, but it looks like it evenly distributes the color across the screen and gives it a clearer picture. If you know what the part is called or how I can attain this part I would appreciate it. Thanks

The screen blew off my TV and into a million pieces while moving

I don't know what kind of t.v. you have but we have a panasonic 52 inch rear projection t.v. and when we bought it ( used) the one of the screens ( the outer - lenticular screen ) was torn and we had to replace it. Our T.v. has two screens and outer and an inner screen. The inner is more expensive. We used a company called Vance Baldwin and they were the most reasonable. We dealt with a man by the name of Odie Mills and the main office is in Fort Lauderdale Florida. The address is : Vance Baldwin, Inc. 7060 State Road 84 #12, Fort Lauderdale, Fl 33317 (954) 723-9191. Ask if they have a warehouse that deals with their products near you and you might be able to pick up the screen instead of having it shipped to your home. Be sure to check the screen before you take it though, we seemed to have a problem with damaged goods because the screen is so delicate. We ended up just having it shipped to our home and it was packed real well and didn't have a problem. I hope this helps in some way. Melinda
