Re: touch screen on hp laserjet m 3027 mfp not working
Turn of the printer. Hold the C and # buttons and turn on the printer. When the screen goes black it will be ready to be re calibrated. there is a white dot, touch it with a pen, another white dot appears, touch it with a pen. It will continue to turn on now with a newly calibrated screen.

If you just want a single copy of the document, place the page face down on the scanner glass or face up in the document feeder. Then press Copy on the all-in-one (for the M276 this is on the touch screen). If you need to adjust the image quality/size or paper size, press Settings. Then press Image Adjust or scroll down and touch Paper. When done adjusting any setting, press OK. Then press Black or Color depending on your source page.
If you want to scan to a computer first, you'll need to make sure that the full software is installed on that computer. Then launch a scan from the computer before using the touch screen's scan button. You need to set up the default scan options before the scan button works. (There is a monitor program "hears" the button and it needs to know the scan defaults and destinations to launch the appropriate parts of the software.)
Note: many all-ones will not work if there is a problem with the print system.

If it is making a wah wah sound when printing, or grinding, the problem is the bushings on the lower pressure roller. Remove the fuser again and check the bushing on the driven side of the fuser. If there is a bunch of dust and you can see a visible gap between the shaft of the pressure roller and the bushing then that is the cause of your problem. If the printer has less than 150,000 pages on it, stop now and do not disassemble anymore of the fuser, see my tip here, as the fuser is covered under an extended warranty by HP. Act quickly though as this warranty extension expires on June 30th.
Does it respond to any touches or is it greyed out? This problem can be caused by either a bad touch pad or a defective scanner. Try accessing other options on the front such as the administrative menu. If those work, then the scanner might be bad or locked? Lift the automatic document feeder lid and check the lock on the left hand side to make sure the scanner is not locked. Restart the machine as well, could be an intermittent problem or static discharge.
