-   We've had two boards have this problem in less than a month so we're now using our third which so far seems okay. Rang Nintendo both times and they said to try and take it back to the shop where you bought it. Luckily the shop took it back both times and replaced it with a new one. Alternatively you can send it back to Nintendo free of charge for repair but obviously you will be without it for a week or two.

-   Same with me. It was my 9th day using the board. I called their customer support number and we tried together to troubleshoot this problem. When it was all said and done, the customer support person e-mailed me a prepaid FedEx shipping label and said to ship it to East Syracuse, NY to have the board repaired. I should have it back in my posession in 11 - 16 days. Hope I don't have this problem again in the future.-   Guest

-   same here - day 2, three excited kids and grumpy daddy unable to fix problem. "step off and press button a" endless loop. Can bypass by lifting board off floor press "a" then replace on floor but it will add the board weight to yours and I don't think the balance is as good. Maybe best if keep board horizontal when off floor. Appears to consider it's own weight too heavy for zero-ing! Any effective fixes welcome-   mike4242

I moved my wii from one room to another and since then it wouldnt turn on. The light turns on and the disc motor is doing something but it never turns on. I've tried the unit with a friends working plugs and it didnt work either, so it's not the plugs. I never knocked it over or damaged it in anyway. I've left it turned off for weeks and tried again with no luck.

I have exactly the same fault. I was using the board and got off for somebody else to have a go. When they tried to start it keeps saying get off and press a even if no one is standing on it. I have tried to reset board but nothing works.
I have the same problem, having watched a clip on youtube it seems that you should be asked to get on to the balance board, ours just ells you to get off, even if you aren't on it. It shows a blue light over the top left corner of the image but doesn't allow you to get any further.
