Question about Dell Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition
Hi: For a couple of weeks now, I have had problems accessing my McAfee SecurityCenter that was preinstalled on my laptop. according to my purchase agreement with Dell, my McAfee service is for 36 mths. The laptop is barely six months old; whenever I click on the icon that rest on the lower right corner of the laptop, a blank box comes up; I tried accessing the security center by click on start/programs, etc, no luck; then to my amazement, I believe I was either struck by a malware or something happened where McAfee SiteAdvisor would freeze my google homepage or MSN homepage; in order to close the page, I would have to restart the laptop; i have deleted and reinstalled McAfee SecurityCenter 4 times only to have the problem repeat itself; the OS is Win Vista Ultimate; I have had difficulty reaching out to McAfee; their tech help page is impossible to get to
What version of MacAfee do u have along with ur laptop, restart ur laptop and open it in the safe mode and then enter ur cd of MacAfee and install it from the CD.
