Question about LG 32LG40 32 in. LCD HDTV
Just bought a LG 32LG40 tv/dvd and it seems it is stuck in a sleep mode and I can't seem to revivie it. The TV turns on but to a dark screen with no control. Any way to get it back to factory default?

Hold the power button on the front of the set down for 5 seconds and then unplug the tv while continuing to hold the power button down for twenty more seconds then plug tv back in this resets it and it should work. It worked for mine when I called the service center at LG.

Testimonial: "Thanks a lot! It worked. Now I'm afraid to use the DVD player. Maybe I'll put in an old kid movie that we don't watch anymore and see if it works. "
I have had this problem. Unplugging the unit from the power source for 5 minutes and plugging back in solved the problems. This has happend twice in 1 year.
