If it will not print at all first check the obvious, make sure all cables are secure and reseat them.
If that is ok then the next area to look is the print driver. Delete the printer from the printer settings (Printers and Faxes under Control Panel) and reinstall it. When you reinstall the printers one way to check if to use the Print Test Page option. If you would like to try this while the printer is already installed then find your printer and right click on it and select Properties.
Finally, the last thing you can check is the Print Spooler. Right click on My Computer and choose Manage. In the left pane expand Services and Applications and select Services. In the right plane scroll down to Print Spooler and click on it. Stop the spooler by right clicking on it and choosing Stop. Restart the service by either right-clicking the Start button.
If all fails then you need a new print driver. You can download it from your PC manufacturers website. Hope this helps.
