Here is the deal: I am having problems running my webcam on MSN Messenger 6.2 I have picture in the audio/video tuning wizard but when i want to set "web camera settings" i get: "webcam not plugged in or in use by another application ....whatsoever" which none is true. what can i do?

- i have a prob running my web cam on msn 9- i get the prompt that it is being used by another application, when it is not! Web cam is working fine outside msn. im using a sony vaio with built in cam and the web cam worked fine for the first few days when i first downloaded msn.can anyone help plz

my friend had the same problem, we found she only had a half duplex card in her puter, this meant that we could only use video or audio, messenger only seems to allow you to use hands free mode, and i think this was causing her problems.
So what we did was use ivisit, and un-ticked hands free, this allowed us to use the web cam with audio and video.
