the K7VMM version 1.2A has a cpu socket 462 for AMD Athlon XP/ Athlon / Duron processor

Hi, Simply go to the motherboard manufacturer's web site. They usually will have them for downloading. If your LAN does not work to get you there, ask a friend to download them for you and put them on a CD or USB Flash Drive. Hank
you need to find out what socket the amd athlon 3000 is and what the socket for the asus is go to amd's site and then the asus site they can help big time..=)
Try removing the power from the back of the computer. Then remove the clock battery that's located on the motherboard. let it sit for about 20 seconds, then plug everything back in a give it a try.
Assuming you got them from the link below, there are 2 bios versions, you may have the wrong, one, or your sound chip is damaged, if so either you will have to purchase a pci sound card or a new board.
