Question about Delphi SKYFi2 SA10101 XM Radio Receiver

Open Question

No signal: delphi sa10101 and delphi sa10201

Just got both of these. The receiver is suppose to hook into the delphi boombox. Everything, including the antenna is hooked in nice and tight. I activated the service, waited an hour or so, and still when I try to go to any channels I get the message "antenna". I tried the "Antenna Aiming" option but I get no signal at all. Terrestrial and satellite do not work. I'm thinking it's the antenna or the boombox, but I'm not sure. Everything is hooked in correctly. Any ideas??

SOURCE: Cannot Get Antenna To Pick-Up Signal

If your roadyxt came in a red box then you need to hook up the XM SureConnect to your vehicles antenna. The instructions that come with it are simple and straight forward. Your FM transmitter will not work unless you hook up the sureconnect

SOURCE: Delphi xm2go internal antenna

Don't use the wearable antenna - reputed to not work well - was not a good design idea - I don't think any of the other receivers have this feature if that tells you anything. Record music you like on the myXM feature, and play that when you would otherwise want to receive on the antenna. If you are listening to live news, etc, there may be no good solution. (I have read there is an antenna headset, but don't know much about it, but some reports that it works.)

No singal antenna on delphi sa10175

Could be the antenna, the dock, or the radio itself. If you have another kit or boombox, I would try swapping antennas out and so forth to narrow down which part is causing the issue. www.tss-radio.com has replacement parts.

When my receiver is plugged into my boom box, I get a display reading "check cradle for power"

It's not receiving enough power from the boombox so the voltage drops too low for the receiver to function properly. Check the cradle connector for bent or pressed pins and the power source of the box for proper functioning: measure the voltage it delivers and the status of its components, especially the filtering capacitors.

Delphi skyfi2 Xm Radio Receiver car connection

Yes, you can buy an FM Direct adapter that will allow you to transmit directly to your car FM tuner, but if you have an older SkyFi2, the Fm transmitter is so strong, you can sit the radio on the floor and tune your car radio to your preset XM channel, like 107.1 FM and it will work great. Go into "Menu" and pick a channel that's not used locally.

Great signal, so sound

My XM Boombox is also white and it is a Belkin. The folks at Delphi told me the receiver in the boombox is screwed up which over time also screws up the Delphi receiver. Belkin is sending me a new boombox and Delphi is sending me a new Roady XT.
