depending on what space you have free is your max, you can use any size you like but again it depends on what is your maximun disk size. hope this helps in some way.. for the size you have now 120 gb, u need at least 10 gigs for windows and programmes to install. so 110 is your max you can play with i think.
Okay your computer can hold a maximum of 3GB of RAM. The RAM must be PC- 133, NON-ECC, UNBUFFERED, SDRAM, DIM memory in order for it to be compatible with your computer. Also you can stick any size hard drive into your computer. **WARNING** IF YOU ATTEMPT TO OPEN YOUR COMPUTER MAKE SURE YOU ARE WEARING AN ESD BRACELET AS TO ENSURE THAT YOU DON'T DESTROY YOUR SYSTEM. ALSO IF YOU CHANGE YOUR HARD DRIVE YOU WILL NEED TO BACK UP ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION TO THAT HARD DRIVE IF YOU WANT TO BE ABLE TO ACCESS IT!!! If you have any other questions please feel free to ask.

Looks like this unit is a couple of years old by the specs.
160 to 200 GB would ba a good size to install in the unit.
It is easy to replace the hard drive. Just remove the old one and install the new by reversing the procedure. Just make sure that the jumper is set to master( which is how the new ones come jumpered)
