SOURCE: Unresponsive mouse XP unable to initialize device driver for Logitech LX8 laser mouse

Your best course of action would be to use System Restore, based on your response above. Go back to the point where everything worked for you and don't attempt to update your driver again. If it works, don't fix it.

After that if there was something you wanted to accomplish, let us know and we can help you.

Regards,
Worldvet

SOURCE: I need a driver for the logitech M-RM67A cordless optical mouse

Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:"Table Normal"; mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0; mso-tstyle-colband-size:0; mso-style-noshow:yes; mso-style-parent:""; mso-padding-alt:0in 5.4pt 0in 5.4pt; mso-para-margin:0in; mso-para-margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-ansi-language:#0400; mso-fareast-language:#0400; mso-bidi-language:#0400;} Ideally you need Mouseware v9.79.3. that’s what came on the CD for my RM67A. I have a M-RM67A transmitter. The date on the actual driver for Logitech is 7/11/2003, v9.79.0.0 (as seen in Device Manager)
If you search for mouse M-RM63 on the Logitech web site, you can download v9.79.1. That may be good enough. Another mouse may have v9.79.3.

For years my RM67A did not seem to work. So I followed these instructions, and it works now.

If you are still stuck, reply here and I’ll find some way to get you my driver.

I received a Performance MX mouse as a gift recently and have been having problem after problem with it working. There is a continual problem with the mouse lagging after the cursor has not been moved for...

I'd suggest downloading the most recent software and drivers for the Performance MX mouse to see if that makes a difference. You can get that software directly from their site at this link: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/428/783?section=downloads.

They also have a fairly good FAQs and troubleshooting section for their products. Your devices page should be this link: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads/downloads/mice/devices/783.

If neither of those help you'll have to contact Logitech directly regarding your warranty question. You can either email them or call them, and their contact info is listed on their website: http://www.logitech.com/en-us/support-downloads.
