Question about Akai LCT2060 Television

Akia lct2070 screen went black and will now shut its self off

When the tv is turned on the screen stays black but is only viewable when a light is placed near now shuts it's self off after about 12 seconds

LG Projection Screen No Picture


Hello, if the model number is correct it's not a projection tv, but an LCD tv. If that's correct, it sounds like a bad main board issue part # is AGF31218501...thanks

I would look online and see if you can buy a new power cord. That is your problem. that same thing happened to my laptop a few months ago.

TV screen turned on for only 10-15 secs then self turn off, followed soon after by the tv power another 10-15 seconds later. if i try this a few times screen wont light up at all.Is it the TV Lamp?


1) Can be dust do a good clean
2)Check for the fuse and change it if needed.
3) Capacitor needs to be changed, you'll have to findout which one.

Akai lct 2070 tv switch does not turn on tv-no sound-no tv


Most failures on this TV are due to defective power supplies. If the TV does not turn ON, you should replace the power supply.
Check this website to buy the power supply adapter and hopefully that should fix the TV.

My akai lct 2070 screen has two issues one is that about a month ago the screen went black only viewable with a light next to it and now when the tv is turned on it stays on for about 30 seconds before it...

One of these boards are causing this problem, we have them in stock if you need them. the tv is programmed to shut down if all circuits are not functioning properly.

No, if the picture of your tv screen is clear when when you watching. the troble of your tv is looseboard, and you replace your CRT socket too.

sounds like power fault but shouldnt be too expensive to repair,get local service center to check it out for you.,
