SOURCE: pentair Mini Max , no power to igniter.

you may have to reset your board.turn all power off to the unit then turn it back on.if this doesn,t do it make sure you have a good complete circuit from board through element then back to ground.

SOURCE: Pool heater will not heat

Im no pro, but I know there is an air sensor behind the main board. If the fan is running you probably have a problem with that sensor. If your lucky the air hose could have just popped off.

SOURCE: Pentair Minimax NT 400 heater. fan keeps coming

Sounds like the controller is the problem. This is the circuit board that has the display and controls on it. You can swing that panel open and try tapping on the white plastic cover the controller is under that. This might get the fan relay to release but you will have to replace the controller it will stick again

How do i install an igniter in minimax

Pentair 472604 Igniter Replacement MiniMax NT STD Pool and Spa Heater

The ignitor is simple to replace, It is either a spark ignitor or a Hot surface ignitor. The above link will take you to a picture of the Hot surface ignitor, it is normal held onto the bottom of the burner tray, at right about the middle, by 1 or 2 sheet metal screws.

If a Spark style ignitor/electrode, then the bottom link is the one want to look at. Again, held in place the same way as above description.

Electronic ignition not hearing the clicking noise no ignition

There are multiple things that will cause this symptom. Among these causes are no water flow, defective igniter, etc. If you have a volt/ohm meter and are good at electrical diagnostics you might be able to call the Pentair technical support line and they might be able to help you determine what part or parts are faulty. I hope this helps.

I have an mini max nt w 6800 controls ignitor

The voltage to this ignitor should only be 120 volts. If you are getting 240 volts to the ignitor, there is something really wrong with the wiring to the heater or in the heater.

Pentair Minimax CH Propane Millivolt Ignition Heaters error E05 what is it?

If you are firing, and then going off and getting an E05, your igniter is to blame. It may be glowing but it's getting weak. The diagnostic goes further but that is usually the fix.. With inactivity, the igniter is always to blame. You really need to fire it off weekly to make it reliable and make sure that your heater is serviced at least one time a year to keep all the internal components operating as designed.
